William B. Plowman is represented by REDUX Pictures and reports on issues of social, political and humanitarian import in his own neighborhood and around the globe. William's photographs can be seen in the world's leading news & NGO publications including: le Figaro, Der Spiegel, Newsweek, Time, The Financial Times, The Africa Report, MSF and Reporters Without Borders among others. He is the weekly contributing photographer for NBC's political talk show Meet the Press and his work is featured in the film Ghosts of Cite Soleil documenting the 2004 war in Haiti. William was recently named a finalist in POYi's Community Awareness Award and last year was awarded Second Place in the Feature category and Third Place in the Chris Hondros Memorial International News category of the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar photo contest as well as an Award of Excellence in the POYi contest for his work in Sudan.
